Journal Entry

So I use my blog as somewhat of a journal entry so I can remember stuff.

This posting is for that exact reason. So I can remember

how stinkin COLD it is HERE!!!!!

Yes, I'M FREEZING!!!! Minus 10 two days in a row

with no end in sight just isn't cutting it!!!! The heating system

in my house is for the birds!

Not one room, let me repeat myself, not ONE room in this

tiny, little house is warm. Nope, not one!!!!!! I'm wearing thermals,

turtle neck, sweater, and wool socks but the

cold just goes right through.

Seriously, I'm ready for the TULIPS!!!!!

Nieuwjaarsduik 2010

We've always heard of CRAZY people who jump in the ocean on New Year's Day but I never thought I would witness such an act. Well, this year Jon joined the group of 10,000 who ran in to the North Sea at 12:00 pm New Year's Day. It was crazy!!! I couldn't believe the amount of people who were actually running in to the water and the amount of people standing around witnessing the event. My pictures do not do it justice. If you would like a better look click here. If you see the flare in the video Jon is close behind. It was bitter cold!!!! We froze just standing there watching the nut-so's!!!! Each participant was given an orange hat and gloves (orange is the color of royalty here). Jon already has BIG plans for next year. I'm married to a CRAZY man!!!!!!
